DESCRIPTION:
This (2008, original engine 66.7 hours), family-friendly 260 Sundeck’s deep cockpit and helm area provides a dry ride while underway, while the massive cockpit and huge storage is perfect for that party on the water. Options include a wakeboard tower (converted), or fully enclosed canvas canopy (current) and thru-hull exhaust. Also included is a large head compartment with vanity, sink, and VacuFlush Head system with 10 gallon holding tank.

Total hours on the engine is currently 65 hours, with the original engine. This model is no longer being manufactured. It allows for 12 Persons sitting forward and maximizing space all under the safety of the canopy canvas. Which when closed protects against bad weather and provides a cool shade while allowing free airflow.
Future models of the 260 Sundeck significantly reduced the functional and usable space while in motion due to the back seats being moved to the rear facing position. It is illegal to have persons in those seats while in motion.
This boat has been kept in dry storage since date of purchase and has only been used in the fresh water of Guntersville Lake. All maintenance has been performed through Erwin Marine Sales, a licensed Sea Ray Dealership. The original purchase was through Erwin Marine in early 2009.
As a family we would take it out in the fall a few times for our children to enjoy. We have not been able to use this boat for the last few years due to time constraints and family obligations. Though we have maintained the winterization and de-winterization process as needed. Plus, we change out the batteries every 3 years with them having been replaced this past Spring. All maintenance records are available through Erwin Marine Sales.
We are asking $68,000 which is well below the market value of a new 260 Sundeck. While this boat is not new the engine is not even broken in with less than 67 engine hours. Also, this model is the deep version, with additional depth to allow for the safety of passengers. This model is discontinued and can no longer be reproduced with all its extra features that are not available on later models. With the significant one being the functional space available while in motion.
This boat comes with all the original items included at sale. Including an extra table for the forward area, anchor, plus USCG rated life jackets for children, teens, and adults.
Due to lack of use we are selling to the right person if we can get the value out of it. Otherwise, we will continue to keep it in dry storage and enjoy as a family.
Note: It did not come with a trailer as it went straight into dry storage from the dealership. It has been there since the date of purchase.
All Registrations will be paid up through September 2024. This boat is available for purchase as of 09/01/2023.
