Interior layout

Interior of the boat is off-white polyurethane paint, varnished mahogany, ash and corian countertops, teak and holly sole in main cabin, and attractive cushions of marine quality. Stowage throughout the boat. From foreword to aft: a stowage area forward of the head, and under the anchor locker on deck. Head compartment with Lavac head. A cabin with a single 6'6" bunk with stowage under. The main cabin features two settees 6'0" and 5'0" in length with stowage underneath. A raised floor in between these settees houses the water tank, an icebox and additional storage. Visibility out the cabin is excellent and two small ventilation hatches are in the overhead. Galley is aft and a deep stainless sink, a small counter area and a 2 burner Force 10 propane stove with broiler. Opposite the galley is the nav table with a lift top and stowage underneath, also electrical panel and VHF. Aft of cockpit is a cabin with a large double bunk with stowage under.

Galley is starboard with a deep stainless sink, a small counter area, and a two burner a Force 10 propane stove with broiler. There are bins, shelves, and cabinets outboard and under the galley area

Electronic Equipment

Nexus Multi Instrumentation for speed and depth and Plastimo compass are installed along the companionway. A VHF radio with mast mounted antenna is in the nav station as well as a hand held VHF.. A new Garmin 741 chart plotter and a Furuno 1622 radar are useable from the cockpit on swing-out mounts above the chart table. Two Autohelm ST-1500 tiller steered.

Electrical System

Two 85 amp hour 12 volt DC gel batteries are recharged by the engine alternator and feed a custom circuit breaker panel with amp load and battery voltage gauges Electrical requirements are well divided among 18 appropriately sized circuit breakers. Cabin, navigation and deck lighting fixtures are well placed and of high quality with red night lighting available in the nav station.

All sails 2000 Quantum. Main: 377 sq. ft. Dacron/mylar cruise sailcloth, full length battens with Harken ball bearing Battcars. Lazy jacks, topping lift, and custom Sunbrella cover. Jib: 230 sq. ft. Dacron/mylar cruise sailcloth on Profurl NC-32 furler, Sunbrella cover. Asymmetrical Spinnaker.:

Remarks

Chris White designed trimaran with only a few built. It is a fast, fun boat to sail and can be single-handled. The main hull and decks are epoxy/glass sandwich construction with western red cedar core on bottom of the main hull and cabin tops and Core-Cell SAN foam core elsewhere. Crossbeams are Core-Cell with substantial carbon reinforcement, with glass covered foam fairings. Highly loaded areas of hull, beam structures, and deck are locally reinforced with carbon fiber. Each float with its crossbeams is demountable for transport or storage. Centerboard and rudder are foam/glass with carbon fiber reinforcement. WEST system Pro-Set brand epoxy resin is used for lamination.
