The defiance models were only made in year 2000 and 2001, The Unsinkable Legend is what Boston Whaler is known for.
The defiance models were only made in year 2000 and 2001, The Unsinkable Legend is what Boston Whaler is known for.
This vessel is a single owner vessel that had gone through a major refit in 2020, all new Raymarine electronics and dash components with fiberglass work to close up all existing openings. New audio by Fusion and Infinity audio throughout the vessel. upholstery redone in 2022 both interior and exterior.
The head system tank was replaced in 2023. engines were rebuilt in melbourne in 2019 and installed in the bilge in 2020 after all existing fuel lines and fuel components, plumbing, through-hulls, Transducers, wiring, plumbing components and shaft components were replaced. The Glendinning components were sent of to Glendinning for rebuild. props and shafts sent to general propeller for service as well as the struts for cutlass bearing replacement.
This vessel has a unique fuel efficiency system with onboard propane tanks to make the diesel engine perform better on the holeshot and use less fuel. The vessel has a Brand new Kohler diesel generator with salon remote start replaced in 2020.
New Salon AC by Dometic replaced in 2023. Custom cutting board that hangs off the transom and doubles as a cockpit grill. cockpit fighting chair installed after the floor was reinforced with a 1 aluminum plate. The interior had some wood work redone in 2023 including the entryway steps among others.
The vessel is sold with the custom made trailer for this vessel, goose neck trailer weighting 15k #. the vessel is ready to go with all the creature comforts of a much larger vessel. The Defiance is currently in the water is Astor at a local marina and can be tested and reviewed with qualified and interested parties.
