This 1985 Marine Trader 47 Tradewinds is a beautifully kept vessel and is ready for her next adventures!
Bridge clearance is 26' to top of antennae (which can be lowered), 20' to the top of the anchor light, and 18' to the top of the radar.
Spacious with three full staterooms and two heads. The forward cabin dual berth can be converted into a seating area with the top bunk folded down.
Super clean engine compartment!
It is powered by the optional 255 horsepower Volvo Penta engines with 4108 hours.
Always serviced and maintained with an open checkbook. Easy access to all sides of motors, the 8kW generator and clean wiring. A 2,000-watt inverter, Twin Racor filters, 8 Trojan T-105 batteries and 4 solar panels, total 470 watts, keep the new house batteries charged. 4 gal per hour at cruising doing 9mph.
Moving aft: full-size galley port side with fridge/freezer, stove, oven, and dual well stainless steel sink. A starboard side dinette allows plenty of room for eating, and there's lots of storage for dry goods and cooking ware.
Moving up the stairs (which act as a quick engine room access), the inside helm is starboard-side. The salon is lit beautifully by full wrap around windows.
Headliner and all wood in great shape. The L-shaped lounger also converts to a double berth. There is under-seat storage.
Continuing aft, guests can walk up to the rear sundeck or down to the second stateroom and Captain's quarters. The second cabin with bunks and hanging locker sleeps two more guests comfortably. The bunks can be switched into a seating area when the top bunk is folded down.
Across the hall is the second head with dual doors for ensuite access from the aft cabin. A shower stall is separate with a curtain.
A large oversized hatch allows a beautiful view out the transom as your wake disappears onto the horizon. The Captain's quarters allow for plenty of walking room, desk with storage, an oversized bed, dressers and hanging lockers. The washer/dryer combo unit was removed and made into a large closet.
Up top, the sundeck has plenty of seating. The teak is in excellent shape. There is a full wet bar with storage and a BBQ grill with a propane tank hookup under the large table in the middle.
The upper helm flying bridge has additional seating and additional storage. Beautiful upholstery cushions, hard top, and new isinglass enclosure make this the best view in the house!
There is an electric davit on the rear upper deck for loading and unloading your favorite dinghy (dinghy not included).
Come see this beauty for yourself, great for a live-aboard, doing the Great Loop, or cruising to your favorite Caribbean locations!
