Bought this boat with a 2017 Suzuki 115 hp. It’s a lot engine for the boat. FAST. But the engines are much smaller than a 115 would have been in 1973 so it’s not too heavy. If I was letting my teenager take it out, I might swap it for something a little less ‘exciting’ but I loved it. Low hours on the engine, runs quiet and smooth. Great for getting in nooks and crannies. Painted bottom for salt water. I’m moving up to New England where I already have a 1973 Outrage. This is a fun boat. Small for a family, better for just a few people.
