Interior layout
The two cabin layout includes a large Vee berth and two 6' setees. The head with sink and vanity is located just aft of the Vee berth. The berths in the main cabin can be converted to queen size using cushions from the Vee berth. Other features include a stowable dining table and compact galley, located aft on the portside.

135% genoa with Forespar roller furling and main, new in 2005, Forespar wisker pole, bimini, inverter, Harken traveler on bridge deck, halogen deck light, 2 group 27 deep cycle batteries, new in 2012, dimmable halogen reading lights, Raritan PH II head with 13 gallon holding tank, 2 automatic bilge pumps, 13 lb Danforth anchor which mounts on the bow pulpit, and Garhauer boom vang. The 9.8 Tohatsu outboard (2008) w/25" shaft is in built-in motor well with exhaust fan. There is a unique bag system for flushing the outboard and retarding growth.
Remarks
The Cape Dory 26 is a quality built family cruiser. She has a tall rig and large foretriangle, making her especially powerful to windward. Her interior is spacious and well ventilated with six opening bronze ports with bronze screens. This boat is hull #24 and is beautiful condition.
