Remarks
The Abbott 22 is a very fast, forgiving and well balanced boat. A pleasure to sail!!
An Ian Proctor design, it was 2 years in the development and built in Sarnia, Ontario.
LOA: 22'
LWL: 18.75'
Beam: 7.5'
Sail Area: 231 sq.ft.
Draft: 3.83'
Displacement: 3100 lbs
Heavier than most 22 ft boats, the 3100 lb displacement gives a motion comfort of 16.47 providing a very comfortable ride in rougher conditions and has a "big boat" feel underway.
All running rigging (except the cunningham) has been led through spinlocks back to the cockpit for single handed sailing.

The overall condition of the boat is good with the usual wear of a 1979 vintage boat. The hull is smooth and osmosis has been taken care of as it appeared. Standing rigging is in good shape and the boat has been shrink wrapped each winter.
The boat is located in Port Colborne at Sugarloaf Marina. I am willing to help the new purchaser commission and launch and familiarize them with the boat and it's simple systems.
Point of contact at the marina is Chris Laroque - (905) 931-5645 chrislarocque@portcolborne.ca
